If you have been feeling that “Star Wars” shaped void in your life since The Force Awakens - get ready to be pacified this weekend as Rogue One opens in theaters. The newest Star Wars spin off in the block is all set to be equally exciting, exhilarating and space shattering!

Star Wars fans out there can certainly rest assured that it won’t disappoint. But, if you still can’t get yourself to decide your feelings about it, here’s all that it’s got in store that will definitely get you on board (star-ship).

1. The Story and the Premises

Rogue One is about rebel forces who come up to steal the plans for Death Star - a super-weapon space station that is designed to be capable of destroying a whole planet.

2. It Basically Answers a Lot of Our Star Wars Questions

One of the reasons you cannot afford to miss the film is because all the secrets it is going to reveal about the Star Wars world. It reveals the details of a post oppression world by the Empire. And, also other major questions that have been bugging us all this while - like how and by whom the Death Star was built and how the rebels came to know how to destroy it.

3. It’s a Major Throwback to the Previous Episodes

There are all kinds of references and connections with the earlier films that are being explored here. The film connects the events between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, telling us what happens. Also, it reveals what went down between Episodes III and IV. So, basically there is a lot of throwback happening!

4. All the New Interesting Characters

While Felicity Jones stars as Jyn Erso - a criminal forger and a thief, Diego Luna’s character is the erstwhile “male lead” playing who is working closely with Erso under the Rebel Alliance. Other characters include an Imperial android and a mysterious warrior- so things are getting pretty exciting already!

5. And The  Villains (Old And New Ones too)

We’ve already seen a glimpse of Darth Vader in the trailers and they are enough to have us sold on this. But! We also have a new bad guy in Orson Krennic - an Imperial Military director who is hellbent on making the Death Star work. Totally the tyrannical villain material we can expect of Star Wars.

6. Exciting Space Action!

Yes, there is plenty of space action too! Epic space battles, with lots of exploding spaceships, and even some martial arts moves and Felicity Jones being totally badass!
