Let's face it, there are a lot of restrictions when it comes to finally going vegan. Of course, you have to be very diligent and mindful of what you eat, or else you're going to jinx the reason why you went vegan in the first place. But while going vegan means having to stick to certain foods such as greens and fruits, there's also a bright side to it. Did you know that London is home to a brimming amount of vegan restaurants that are truly palatable and crave-worthy? And here's a fun fact: cupcakes have gone vegan, too! See our top 5 favourite vegan restaurants that have become our ultimate go-to... and yes, we're declaring we're going vegan, pronto.

222 Veggie Vegan

If you're seriously considering eating all things vegan, then you're up for an enticingly decent and healthy meal at 222 Veggie Vegan located at West Kensington. Since its opening back in 2004, it has offered Londoners and visitors alike the satisfying beauty of clean-eating. Fresh and natural ingredients are served, and they promise to never deep-fry or microwave your meal. Sounds like a good deal, yes? We highly recommend trying their Oyster Mushroom & Spinach Raclette, Pasta Basilico and Chef's Salad.

Hummus Bros

Craving for hummus? Go and head out to Hummus Bros for a variety of hummus-related servings. Although they're not entirely vegan since they do offer some meat dishes for anything who's still transitioning, the restaurant still highlights an assortment of meals for vegan diners. Our favourite include their Guacamole & Falafel Salad, their Quina salad which consists of kale, lettuce, fresh salsa, falafels, tzatziki and of course, quinoa. Deliciously healthy in every bite!

NAMA Artisan Raw Foods

Raw has never been more indulging than by visiting NAMA, your daily source of gourmet dishes including pasta and wraps served fresh inside a chic and modern restaurant. Located along Notting Hill in London, NAMA is quickly becoming one of the city's ultimate go-to for all things nutritious, mouthwatering and cleansing. If you're heading over for brunch, we suggest you try out the Smorrebrod Open Sandwich served with a selection of toppings such as sesame, cashew or almond, as well as chutneys, pickles and a side salad. Or you can try out their Toast, Banana & Rawtella for a taste of healthy hazelnut butter while you're at it.

Cookies And Scream

Craving for sweets but you've already gone vegan? Fret, not. Cookies And Scream is going to satisfy your sweet tooth craving whilst limiting your tastebuds to all things vegan. Located at The Market Hall in Camden, this gluten-free and vegan bakery offers a variety of delicious treats such as brownies, cakes, cookies, pies, donuts and more! Trust that the ingredients are completely healthy, low in fat and cholesterol as well as made with unrefined sugar. Our favourites include the bakery's traditional Choc Chip Cookie, Oatmeal Hombre and Peanut Butter Chico.
