Posted in: LOCAL
Let's face it, there are a lot of restrictions when it comes to finally going vegan. Of course, you have to be very diligent and mindful of what you eat, or else you're going to jinx the reason why you went vegan in the first place. But while going vegan means having to stick to certain foods such as greens and fruits, there's also a bright side to it. Did you know that London is home to a brimming amount of vegan restaurants that are truly palatable and crave-worthy? And here's a fun fact: cupcakes have gone vegan, too! See our top 5 favourite vegan restaurants that have become our ultimate go-to... and yes, we're declaring we're going vegan, pronto.
222 Veggie Vegan
If you're seriously considering eating all things vegan, then you're up for an enticingly decent and healthy meal at 222 Veggie Vegan located at West Kensington. Since its opening back in 2004, it has offered Londoners and visitors alike the satisfying beauty of clean-eating. Fresh and natural ingredients are served, and they promise to never deep-fry or microwave your meal. Sounds like a good deal, yes? We highly recommend trying their Oyster Mushroom & Spinach Raclette, Pasta Basilico and Chef's Salad.

Craving for hummus? Go and head out to Hummus Bros for a variety of hummus-related servings. Although they're not entirely vegan since they do offer some meat dishes for anything who's still transitioning, the restaurant still highlights an assortment of meals for vegan diners. Our favourite include their Guacamole & Falafel Salad, their Quina salad which consists of kale, lettuce, fresh salsa, falafels, tzatziki and of course, quinoa. Deliciously healthy in every bite!
