This week, there have been nuclear war worries. Yet again. And yet again coming from Russia. The Turkish military shot down a Russian jet, which violated Turkish airspace and was given 10 warnings in 5 minutes prior to be brought down. With Turkey being a NATO member state and with Russian President Vladimir Putin warning of “serious consequences,” some analysts see it as a probable beginning of a war between NATO and Russia.

This week, the world has been mourning the deaths of 129 people killed in Paris terror attacks. ISIS then claimed responsibility for the attacks, which prompted France and Russia to join forces in order to intensify airstrikes against the terror group in Syria. Meanwhile, British Prime Minister David Cameron has vowed to prepare ISIS vote to extend airstrikes to Iraq until this Christmas.

This week, the world was shaken by the news that a Russian plane crashed in Egypt’s Sinai and killed all 224 passengers on board, including 25 children and 7 crew members. The U.K. then took action to halt all flights between Britain and Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt.

However, that’s not the only reason that prompted the U.K. to cancel flights at its airports: extreme fog caused major disruption to flights at U.K. airports.
