Turkey has been a victim of deadly explosions in a tourist area of Istanbul, where at least 10 people – with most of them being foreigners – have been killed, according to the BBC.

A Syrian national is accused by Turkish officials for setting off a suicide bomb in the Sultanahmet district, near Istanbul’s famous Blue Mosque.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani criticized his country’s long-time rival – Saudi Arabia – on Tuesday, claiming that Saudis cannot cover their crimes by severing political relations with Iranians, according to CNN citing Iran’s official Press TV news service.

The comments by Iran’s president come after the Saudis executed a Shiite cleric, which resulted in an attack on the Saudi Embassy in Tehran.
