The upcoming weekend release, “Mother’s Day” is definitely hoping to make a big opening. It marks the return for director Garry Marshall who had made some our favorite Holiday ensemble movies in the past including “Valentine’s Day” and “New Year’s Eve”. As you can tell, those movies were all about a star-studded cast as well, and Mother’s Day not only sticks to that tradition, it also seems to be the third installment in the Holiday movie tradition!

Summers are full of contradiction. As much as we want to be outside, soaking up the suns and bringing out those sunnies, we are also drained enough to stay indoors at the same time.  It is also a peak time for the biggest movie releases and the 2016 roster looks exciting enough for us to help us make the decision. And, with all the following of our favourite stars returning to the screen – the AC+Movie Tickets+Popcorn routine is definitely up for the win!

What Belongs to You is the sparkling debut novel by Garth Greenwell. It is a claustrophobic book about a gay American writer who moves to Bulgaria to teach English and write poetry.

Forced into the Sofia underworld to look for partners, the un-named lonely narrator becomes obsessed with street-wise rent boy Mitko, whom he meets for the first time in a public bathroom. It is a bleak story that explores the empty and ultimately doomed relationship between these two protagonists.

We're all for Netflix and chill, you guys, and this may be the reason why we're so thrilled to know that season two of Bloodline is hitting the streams this Friday, May 27th! It may be one of the most understated films to ever be released by Netflix, but one cannot deny the fact that it is also one of the most enthralling and thought-provoking drama series to hit our screens thus far. It can even surpass the wonders of House of Cards or Orange Is The New Black, so to speak. Yes we love drama, we love suspense and we love Kyle Chandler!

Marvel fans have something to look forward to this weekend as the X-Men squad returns with yet another action packed sequel. After the humongous success of X-Men: Days of the Future Past, director Bryan Singer unfolds a timeline 10 years after the events of the film, in X-Men Apocalypse. And, this time around the mutant superheroes are tasked with saving the earth from the rage of a powerful resurrected first mutant, En Sabah Nur or Apocalypse. Though we will miss seeing more of Wolverine, the character roster looks exciting enough to keep us hooked.
