  • Dozen of disability protesters attempted to storm the UK House of Commons during PM’s Questions. Some where on wheelchairs.
  • The Queen may have to move out of Buckingham Palace amid maintenance.

This time in History

  • June 26: in 1948, U.S. and British airplanes began food and supplies deliveries to Berlin with the city isolated by a Soviet Union blockade.
  • June 21: in 1788, the Constitution of the United States was ratified. New Hampshire was the ninth and last necessary state to ratify the document.
  • June 20: in 1975, Steven Spielberg’s movie Jaws was released. The movie then won three Oscars, for Best Film Editing, Best Original Score and Best Sound.
