We're finally venturing into April, and what better way to celebrate the advent of spring than by heading to the Sensational Butterflies Exhibition at the National Museum which your kids will surely love. Or join the 10-day London Games Festival for an enjoyable experience that's going to make you meet loads of people. Or maybe cap off your weekend by heading over to the London Whisky Weekender event at the Oval Space. Regardless of what you intend to to this weekend, London is going to see a lot of sunshine. Watch Eddie the Eagle

London Games Festival

This 10-day festival is all about making the city of London your playground with lots of physical and virtual game activities to choose from! 15 big events will be showcased around ten famous London locations featuring talks, workshops, exhibitions, games and more. In addition, there's going to be a largescale video gaming fair at EGX Rezzed along Tobacco Dock so make sure to come prepared with your game face on. This event will be held in various locations in the city from April 1st up until April 10th. No ticket required, just show up. 

Glenn Close at the Sunset Boulevard at the London Coliseum

American actress Glenn Close is going to make her West End debut at Andrew Lloyd Webber's celebrated musical, Sunset Boulevard at the London Coliseum. Regarded as one of the finest actresses of her time, the 69-year-old actress will be reprising her Tony Award-winning role as Norma Desmond who is a film actress desperate enough to make it back to the top of her career. London Whisky Weekender

Returning for its third year, the London Whisky Weekend event is going to showcase more whisky, more food and more fun in the heart of old industrial London. Apart from having loads of chances to taste different whiskys during the event, you'll also get to enjoy several festival shops available in the area as well as fancy yourself some DJs and live music whilst rubbing elbows with fellow liquor enthusiasts. Ticket prices available hereOval Space, 29-32 The Oval, London E2 9DT, United Kingdom
