Who's ready to race and run this weekend? There are lots of activities to look forward to such as the 2016 Virgin Money London Marathon event as well as the Virgin Money London Marathon Expo at ExCeL. Watch Film: Bastille Day

Virgin Money London Marathon Expo at ExCeL

In lieu of the upcoming Virgin Money London Marathon event this weekend, an expo will be held at ExCeL, London from April 20th to 23rd and is especially beneficial for those joining the awaited race. For registration and other merchandises including sports nutrition and running gear such as clothing, shoes and technical accessories, they will be sold at the expo for discounted prices which is a good thing if you're a runner in the marathon. Virgin Money London Marathon 2016

And for the main event happening this weekend, get ready to cheer on your participating runner at the 2016 Virgin Money London Marathon! The 26.2mile race will start at Blackheath and will end at the Pall Mall in front of Buckingham Palace. If you're not running in the event, then tag along your family and friends and join the merriment of this extremely sporty but fun race. Just a little note: spectators looking forward to watching the entire race must come prepared and wrap themselves up with coats and jackets since the weather might drop to 10C. The Feast of St. George's Day

Get ready for all things English this Saturday as the City of London celebrates St. George's Day! The event will feature a Shakespearean theme with lots of food, lively music and free fun for everyone joining the celebration. This year marks the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death, so expect tons of activities related to the talented poet, playwright, writer and actor. In addition to Shakespeare-related activities, there will be cookery demos, a banquet filled with delicious food and treats as well as indoor and outdoor games for the whole family. The Complete Walk @ Shakespeare 400

Since the City of London will be celebrating St. George's Day with a Shakespearean-themed weekend, head over to River Thames between Tower and Westminster Bridges and witness The Complete Walk @ Shakespeare 400 event. The venue will be host to no more than 37 large TV screens showing an original 10-minute film that pertains to one of Shakespeare's plays and is filmed exclusively on location for visitors to see. Entrance is free so just turn up since it's going to be one cultural experience worth noting! River Thames, Between Tower and Westminster Bridges, London, SE1, United Kingdom

One can imagine a western film to hardly be low on the entertainment, but Jane Got a Gun manages to do that. The film has got its fair share of guns and the cowboy hats and a badass female protagonist out to save her husband from a notorious gang, but still falls short on what its out to get.
