It's always a good idea to have millions of followers via your social media account, especially if you're a celebrity or model. Your online presence helps you land coveted jobs and modeling gigs because you have access to millions of people everywhere... but sometimes, it can be a downfall, too. MANGO and Kendall Jenner recently faced an online backlash when they revealed the latest Spring/Summer 2016 campaign for the Spanish clothing brand. The campaign would have been an exciting addition to Kendall's ever growing modeling gigs, but right after she (and MANGO) posted a short video clip of the new collection called "Tribal Spirit", social media blew up in a frenzy. Check out the short video clip below:

Fans and critics alike weren't so happy with the end result of the campaign, saying Kendall Jenner wasn't the right girl for the job. Some people tweeted and commented their disagreement with why MANGO chose a "white girl" for a Tribal-related campaign, stating cultural appropriation should have been considered. See below:

Meanwhile, fashion giants such as Givenchy, Chanel and Louis Vuitton had no problems in the past featuring dark-skinned models for their different campaigns.

Kendall, on the other hand, just shrugged off the online hate and posted this photo instead:

Intelligent? Or just giving the critics a big F OFF? We're not too sure.
