How to Look Great During and After Gym?
Posted in: FITNESS
Sport needs time regardless of the season. We go to the gym regularly, when it is hot or cold, but we often neglect our look during and after a workout.
Makeup and sweat are non-compatible
Are you used to apply the whole makeup kit (base, concealer, blush, mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow, and lipstick) before leaving the house? Well, we will disappoint you. Of course, we all want to look great under any circumstances, but makeup is out of place in the gym, when sweat is running down your face. Mind that, since all the equipment and dumbbells are used by other people as well.
But if you still insist on putting a makeup, make it light, using eyebrow pencil, eyeliner, and waterproof mascara only.
Arrange your hair
If you have long hair, do a ponytail or a bun. Fix rebellious strands with bobby pins. For short hair, you can try a headband with bobby pins.
Are you ending your working day in the gym? Remember to put on a suitable knitted headband so your hairdressing won’t be running down your forehead. After a workout use a dry shampoo, spraying it on roots and blow-dry your hair. After these tricks, your hairstyle will look neat. For curly hair, it can’t hurt to apply a moisturizing spray to refresh your curls.
Fresh it up after a workout
First of all, clean all body and face areas, where the skin is prone to pimples and inflammation, using anti-bacterial tissues.
Spray your face with thermal water, which is known for its soothing and cooling properties.
Do not apply intense skin-care products straight after a workout, since the reaction of the warmed skin may be unpredictable. Moisturize the skin only after washing it with cold water and a foaming cleaner. By the way, anti-redness gels and creams would be a perfect choice after a workout.
If you have a possibility to take a shower immediately after training, use it. Once you’re refreshed, you can put some skin-care resolution and a light makeup. For this purpose, it is useful to take small makeup tubes to the gym.
