August  has been yet another incredible month for Netflix viewers, with great bunch of films and TV series making their way onto screens all across the UK. The following are some of the highlights for your Bank holiday binge watch.

Narcos

The Netflix in-house TV series Narcos released 28th August, takes a look at the life of infamous Colombian drug dealer Pablo Escobar and the Mexican drugs enforcement agent sent to kill him. The first series consists of 10 episodes and seems set to give us some explosive and bloody action this August.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

Tolkien fans will be delighted to see this 2014 movie added on Netflix on the 20th of August. Bilbo (Martin Freeman) and Gandalf (Ian McKellen) are back along with Smaug and many of the other favourites for this instalment. It was the 2nd highest grossing film of 2014 and got generally very positive reviews. Even if you haven't seen the first 2 Hobbit movies you will probably enjoy this one anyway.

Horns

‘Horns’ is an unusual horror fantasy movie starring Daniel Radcliffe. He is accused of raping and murdering his girlfriend, before waking up with horns on his head. The horns give him weird paranormal powers, which he uses to try and find out who killed his girlfriend and to get revenge.

Last Passenger

This low budget 2013 movie shows passengers trapped on a late night train in London with a crazed driver seemingly intent on killing them all. This debut from Omid Nooshin provides plenty of suspense and got excellent reviews from many critics when released.

From Dusk Till Dawn: Season 2

New episodes of this horror series will arrive weekly on Netflix from the 26th of August. Few details have been released on the series. However, as before we can expect the Gecko brothers to get involved in supernatural adventures while trying to get away from the Texas Ranger pursuing them.
