You’ve worked so hard these past few months so you deserve a relaxing spa-cation somewhere in the Bahamas or Hawaii. Nourish your body from within and be extremely nice to your skin as you enjoy these spa treatments to look your best:

Body wraps

Being the body-conscious person that you are, you feel like you’re not yet ready to don a bikini. Forget about your insecurities and head down to the spa nearest you and give body wraps a try. Body wraps such as seaweed and mud are great spa treatments that help smoothen out skin, detoxify and can even give you the appearance of getting all trimmed down. Not known to many, body wraps help flush out unwanted toxins from the body and help banish heat thus giving you a perfect beach glow and a slimmer-looking figure.

Body scrubs

Body scrubs are ultimate spa solutions for those who would want to get rid of their skin’s impurities and dead skin cells. Exfoliation is badly needed by the skin especially after the tan fades away so make sure to avail of body scrubs this season. Enjoy a whole body exfoliation as it leaves a softer and smoother skin. Exfoliation rubs away any unwanted flaky and hard skin so you’ll feel refresh after this treatment. Some of the best body scrubs to try are: sugar, salt or fruit.

Foot scrub for your tired and weary feet

Don’t ever let yourself be caught with dirty and soiled feet caused by months of wearing closed shoes instead put your best feet forward by going to the spa and availing of a relaxing foot scrub or paraffin treatment. Spoil your feet as they deserve the most TLC.

Pedicure

Add a splash of colors to your feet after getting a refreshing foot scrub. There’s nothing more pleasing to the eyes than seeing well-groomed and well-pedicured nails this holiday season. Choose nail polish with brighter colors such as hot pink, orange, or red.

Deep Tissue Massage

Time to de-stress and relax this vacation season especially if you're heading to somewhere with scorching heat. Too much stress and fatigue can take a toll on your body but always remember that massages are the solutions to your body aches. Deep tissue massage is well-recommended for it is quite similar to Swedish massage. It uses slow, firm yet gentle strokes to relieve any muscle tension. If you’re having another episode of muscular pain, it’s best to avail of deep tissue massage.

Facials

Let your face be vacation ready by having it cleaned! Facials are solutions to your skin problems especially if you have clogged up pores. Most of spa establishments have different names for the same facials but be sure to tell them way in advance what your skin problems are so that the receptionist can offer the best facial treatment for you.
