Iranian President Hassan Rouhani criticized his country’s long-time rival – Saudi Arabia – on Tuesday, claiming that Saudis cannot cover their crimes by severing political relations with Iranians, according to CNN citing Iran’s official Press TV news service.

The comments by Iran’s president come after the Saudis executed a Shiite cleric, which resulted in an attack on the Saudi Embassy in Tehran.
