All of France’s eight oil refineries have risen to strike over new labor laws, according to CGT union. Ever since the government adopted the new controversial laws, the country’s oil-based workers have been protesting and going on strikes. 

According to recent data, about 20% of France’s petrol stations have either run dry or are running low on oil

There are rumours in the mill that the BBC is going to launch a pay for subscription service which will rival Amazon and Netflix. It may be news to many, but the signs have been there for a while – probably since their highest grossing series Top Gear headed over to rivals Amazon. It costs £5.99 for a monthly (no contract) subscription with Netflix or Amazon. The question is will the BBC expect consumers to pay for a BBC subscription service and a TV license at £145.50 per year as well?

Less than 6 weeks left until EU referendum, which means more politicians, businesses and media pick up the heat and discuss possible outcomes of Brexit. The Bank of England, for example, predicts Brexit will result in lower growth and higher inflation.

GOP front-runner Donald Trump says new mayor of London would be one of “exceptions” to his proposed ban on Muslims from entering the United States. 

The real estate mogul has previously announced plans to ban Muslims from traveling to the U.S., which worried the newly elected mayor of London Sadiq Khan, who is a Muslim. 

Khan had been concerned he wouldn’t be able to travel to the U.S. if Trump assumes the presidency in November this year.
